A review: the prevalence of dermatophytosis on cats in Indonesia and Turkey

Dermatophytosis (ringworm) is an important feline skin disease primarily caused by the dermatophyte genera Microsporum and Trichophyton which may be affected climate. Studying prevalence of dermatophytosis on cats in Indonesia Turkey was main purpose this article review. The articles reviewed were two from published consecutively year 2011 2016, 2017. findings showed that 17/30 (56.7%) while 52/428 (12.1%). age infected animals only predictor had a major effect incidence cats, as shown excellent positive cases under one relative to other groups. In conclusion, slightly lower compared subtropical country (Indonesia) variations attributed variation humidity temperature faced both countries.
